How does Dobble work?

  How does Dobble Work? What is Dobble? I'm sure we all have played Dobble at some point in our lives but in case anyone is unfamiliar, Dobble also called Spot-It is a game payed with circular cards that have 8 pictures on them. To play you place two of the cards down and the you have to spot which image appears on both cards, whoever sees it first shouts "Dobble" and takes both cards, the person with the most cards at the end wins.  The Science of Dobble Admittedly, Dobble is more Mathematics than Science but since Maths is a part of STEM, I still get to talk about it! According to Wikipedia " The game of Dobble with 8 symbols on each card corresponds to the finite projective plane of order 7, where each line joins 8 points . This results in a structure with 57 lines and 57 points (7 2 +7+1=8 2 −8+1=57), corresponding to a maximum of 57 cards and 57 symbols.
